“Say hello to my little friend”
In this case, its a 8 foot long fence post. Not exactly heavy, but it does change my balance a bit, and forces me to move differently. On the walk back in, I moved it to in front of my body, just to work my arms a bit.
And if I should be attacked by vampires, or coyotes, I’ll be ready!

great idea to use the pole.. real functional training at it’s best… keeping your hands far from your body will actually work against keeping them warm, and as you sweat, the dampness will make it worst… think of a liner inside the gloves, pure silk is best. You can pick those up at any sports shop. Love what you are doing to get ready for your event. Keep on truckin’ Carlin!
Yeah, noticed hands got pretty cold! Found just one hand at a time worked better. The camera kept shutting off, battery brand new, was cold! Eye lashes even frosted!
