The Compound Effect

There is one thing that 99% of failures and successful folks have in common, they all hate doing the same things. The difference is successful people do them anyway.

Change is hard. That's why people don't transform their bad habits, and why so many people end up unhappy and unhealthy.

If it's hard, awkward, or tedious, so be it. Just do it. And keep doing it. And the magic of the compound effect will reward you handsomely.

Darren Hardy -- The Compound Effect

I was going to just post this on Facebook, but of course, its too long to fit there! Almost decided to skip it, but thought it was too good not to share, right?

So, since I now have a full page to work with... :)

I've heard this same idea expressed by a few people this year. Maybe it comes around every year in the Resolution Season?

Failures and Successful People all have the same hang ups. But the difference is if we do the thing we KNOW we should do, or make up excuses. We don't need a new tool, or a new book, or a new what ever. We need to just do the thing. And the whole title of "Failure", that's no good either. Failing isn't so bad, its just feedback. Quitting, now that can be fatal, so lets not do that right?

What's Your Thing you need to do today?

I think I'll go do one of my things today, and maybe I'll do tomorrows thing too!

Stay Tuned!
